Practical Significance of Reverberation Chamber Testing and NRC Values
Author:Mushu Product knowledge

The NRC value is the average of the sound absorption coefficients of the four frequencies of 250, 500, 1,000, and 2 kilohertz, and is derived from the reverberation chamber test. During the test, place the sample in the empty room, measure the reverberation time difference before and after laying, and reverse the sound absorption coefficient of the material.
The
higher the NRC value, the stronger the sound absorption capacity in the middle and high frequencies, but the performance of different plates in the low frequency band varies greatly. In the actual project, we must not only look at the NRC, but also pay attention to the low-frequency sound absorption performance below 200 Hz. Each batch of Mushu sound-absorbing panels can provide a third-party reverberation room test report to help customers accurately evaluate the acoustic effect of the scheme.
